The Shepherd’s Cradle is a ministry of Bond Baptist Church, born from a love of new life and families. We believe in the words of Jesus in John 13:34
Matthew 24:45 And the King will answer them’ “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
What We Believe
The most vulnerable form of human life is a newborn baby. One could argue that a new family is the most vulnerable part of God’s creation for mankind. It is in those days when new life enters the world that everything in the new parent’s life is turned upside down. Suddenly, this little life is dependent on its parents all day, every day for its very survival.
Parenting is one of the biggest adjustments in a person’s life. It is hard. It can be even more difficult to do it alone. We aren’t meant to go through it alone though. We have a God who stands beside us, helping us to carry the weight. He sends His followers to provide love and support in His name. He will not forsake us.
At Bond Baptist Church, through our ministry The Shepherd’s Cradle, we answer the command of God to love one another in His name. We stand alongside new parents, providing support and supplies to those, like all new parents, who need a little help.
We are pro-life. It is our belief that God has a purpose for every life and that each baby is a blessing. We want to meet the needs of those who choose life, and let them know that God loves them, they are not alone.
